Julia's Guide to Saratoga Restaurants

This web site is my personal completely biased opinion on what I like in Saratoga and I LOVE the following restaurants.  I don't like 'cookie cutter dining', you know, the same menu at 100 restaurants. That's why I find the following restaurants to be extra special, they have items on their menu, that you won't find anywhere else... and it's all wonderful!

Longfellows Hotel & Conference Center: Attached to the most wonderful gourmet restaurant, beautiful, located near track, driving distance from town, amazing suites! (518) 587-0108

Chez Pierre Restaurant: Chez Pierre is French dining at its best just minutes from the lovely downtown of Saratoga. Chez Pierre offers a variety of hot and cold hors D'oeuvres and classic French desserts, and much much more.

The Georgian Resort: The Georgian is proud to be the largest resort property in Lake George. We are conveniently located between NY City and Canada and within walking distance of most village attractions. Whether you are enjoying our private beach or the elegant cuisine of our Award Winning Supper Club, The Georgian will surely be the highlight of your vacation get-away. Phone: 518-668-5401 or Email: [email protected]

The Side Room: Businesses, sweethearts, family and friends enjoy the warm hospitality found at The Inn At Saratoga, known as a Saratoga Springs' jewel. The modernized Victorian inn sits on Broadway, where it has watched and participated in the last 150 years of this world-famous town's history. With 38 guest rooms and suites, a cocktail lounge overlooking Broadway, a dining room with a heart-warming fireplace, and meeting rooms, The Side Room accommodates your every need.  Come Sundays from 10am-1pm for the Jazz Music Brunch ($18.95/adult)

The Wishing Well Restaurant The Wishing Well has been in continuous operation since 1936. And today, as they have since 1968, owners and hosts Bob and Brenda Lee, with their sons Dean and Bob Jr., continue the tradition of outstanding cuisine and genial hospitality through their personal attention and concern with detail.

The Stadium Cafe In the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, opened on the summer of 2002. Known as "The Ultimate Sports Bar", it's unique, because it is also a non-smoking restaurant with a family atmosphere. Featuring 25 TV's, including 6 plasma and 5' X 9' high definition projection screen, it is the natural destination for all sports fans who prefer more than just pub food! Although the wings and calamari are customer favorites, the menu highlights range from light fare to baby back ribs that melt in your mouth, and prime rib cooked just the way you like it. There are always nightly Chef's Specials, and you must try our homemade "Saratoga Chips" or French fries.
